So, it’s snowing today in the nation’s capital, which is friggin’ annoying, but you know who fucking loves it? That’s right, that little bastard Bao Bao, our resident kind-of-a-baby panda at the National Zoo. It’s his first snow, and he friggin’ loves it. Like the bastard he is.

Sick of campaign ads? Disgusted by the DC insiders and/or Tea Party outsiders running for office? This four-year-old girl, who just finished learning about early American history and became very enamored of our first president, feels your pain.
It’s Monday, and cold and rainy here in D.C., so here’s something kind of fun. Just in case you missed it (or don’t subscribe to D.C. local blogs), here’s a guy late night on the train, rousing everybody with a winning rendition of Lil Jon’s “Get Low.” He stops for about two minutes, then the greatest part of the video happens. D.C. recently passed a law gradually increasing the minimum wage, from $8.25 to $11.50 by 2016. According to a report by the D.C. Fiscal Policy Institute, this will affect ninety percent of D.C. fast-food cooks.
